For the Living of These Days – When Jesus said “Do this in remembrance of me,” he was using the Greek word Anamnesis, which is more than just reminiscing. It means to “refuse to forget.” When we gather around the table to remember Jesus’ teachings and his life, death and resurrection, and remember that we are called to live as his followers, we are standing up to something – we are resisting – we are refusing to forget. Join the resistance by meeting with Rev. Julie for discussion, communion and prayer at 6:30 pm Wednesdays in the sanctuary through April 16. (We’re meeting early so choir members can attend.)
