DESCRIPTION:The All-Church Retreat will be held September 27-29\, 2024 in Ocean Grove\, NJ. Our theme will be “Practicing the Presence of God.” We will gather with Christ Church people of all ages to engage in activities that help us practice God’s presence in our lives and enjoy a lovely weekend at the shore.\n\nTo register for this event\, please send an email to Julie at revjy@ccsnj.org and mail or drop off a check to the church by Friday\, September 20. The cost for adults is $225\, and the cost for children is $50. The rooms each have 2 twin beds\, with connecting rooms available for families with children. Bathrooms are on the hall\, with a couple of semi-private bathrooms available upon request. The cost for Saturday only is $150 for adults\, $50 for children.\n\nOur main programming will take place on Saturday\, but for the full immersive experience\, please plan to come on Friday evening after dinner and leave on Sunday morning – or enjoy a Sunday at the shore after the retreat ends!\n\nQuestions? DESCRIPTION:Join us for a Christ Church Intergenerational Service Event at the Community Food Bank of NJ!\nOn Saturday\, March 16 we will gather at Christ Church and carpool to CFBNJ in Hillside to sort and pack food for distribution across New Jersey.\nThe Community Food Bank of New Jersey\, a member of Feeding America\, provides people across the state with food\, help\, and hope. Last year CFBNJ distributed enough food for more than 85 million nutritious meals.\nThis event is open to ages 12 and up. Our volunteer shift begins at 11:30 am and will end at approximately 1:30 pm.\nSign up by March 5th\nPlease arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the shift. Limited parking is available on-site. If you would like to carpool\, please email Cynthia Mathis at cjmathis@verizon.net.\nThis is an active volunteer experience\, so please wear sneakers and long pants.
