It will be held in the Art Room.  Wreath decorating costs $20 per wreath\, with pre-signup required.  We need a minimum of 15 wreath signups to hold this event. Parents & children aged 8+ are welcome\, accompanied by an adult.   Take home a beautifully decorated wreath\, with the joy of creating it yourselves! It is clear that many of us here in our Christ Church community are ready to break that silence.\n   Please join us to speak more deeply about the emotional\, relational\, behavioral and spiritual effects we have experienced. We will focus on recognizing our strengths and survival strategies. If you would like to participate\, please bring in a picture of a loved one or one of the loved one’s favorite item (such as food or drink) to place on the Ofrenda. We will have sugar skulls to decorate and stencils and tissue paper to cut out to make papel picado\, the garlands that decorate all festive celebrations in Mexico.

DESCRIPTION:  \n \n  \nBridges Lunches Drop Off in Barnwell Hall  (see guidelines below) \nWe are gathering 200 lunches for our Bridges run \nIf you are available to help make 10-15 lunches (or more) please email Caroline Dean at cdean@ccsnj.org \nDrop off the lunches on Friday (October 5th) in the kitchen & refrigerator in Barnwell Hall at Christ Church from 10 am -5 pm \nOr on Saturday (October 6th) from 8am-9am. \n\n\n\n\n\nSign up today!\n \nBridges Run Volunteers: Saturday October 6th \n8th-12th grade volunteers & chaperones are invited to go on our \nBridges Run from 9:30am-12pm.  Friends are always welcome. \nBridges runs are amazing & life giving opportunities for all involved! \nEmail  Caroline at cdean@ccsnj.org \nFRESH LUNCHES: \nContents of a fresh brown bag lunch \n\nSandwich: preferably made with 100% white\, whole wheat or soft\, whole wheat with low sodium deli meat.  Please\, no peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.  Please do not put mayo\, mustard\, lettuce or tomato on the sandwich.  \nFruit: grapes\, clementines\, bananas\, pears or other soft fruit\nDairy Item: mozzarella\, cheddar or other cheese stick\, 4 or 6 oz yogurt with spoon or 2 squeezable yogurts\nChewy granola bar (reduced sugar if possible) or Nutrigrain-type fruit & cereal bar\nDrink: Water (6 or 8 oz. bottle)\n\nGuidelines for making fresh brown bag lunches \n\nPlease do NOT put sandwiches in the brown bag lunches – keep separate.\nKeep sandwiches refrigerated until delivery. \nWash hands and use surgical gloves.\nApproximately one pound of meat makes six to eight sandwiches.\nNote that loaves of bread vary in size; count the slices!\nMeat only (no condiments\, lettuce or tomatoes)\nWrap sandwiches in zip lock bags.\nMany of our friends have dental problems; please purchase soft fruit (no apples\, please.)\nAlthough not as healthy\, fruit cups are an alternative to fresh fruit – please remember spoons and napkins.\n\n
