The Board of World Fellowship- shares the abundance of Christ Church with those in need by contributing to various “causes” locally, nationally or internationally. We provide financial aid to GRACE, Family Promise, One World One Love, Bridges, Newark Conservancy, NOMI, Community Food Bank of NJ and Summit Warm Hearts. We’ve responded to a number of crises, including the floods and tornadoes in Kentucky, the Hurricane Ida floods, the Haiti hurricane aftermath and Ukraine. We also help Christ Church members to connect with local volunteer opportunities. We meet September through June on the second Tuesday of each month. No special experience needed–just an interest in helping others. Since we do two big outreach efforts each year, it’s helpful for members to have communications skills. Reach out to us if you are interested in being part of our work. Contact Anne Kennison, Chair, kennison.anne@gmail.com com

Race Equity Task Force – Christ Church has an active Race Equity Task Force engaged in interfaith justice work in our community.

Love and Faith Alliance – LGBTQIA+ group sharing & meeting every 3rd Sunday @ 11:30 in the Acker Conference Rm. Contact LAFA@ccsnj.org

Nicaragua Aid – We have several partners in Nicaragua that we support financially and through service-learning trips.

GRACE – meets community needs with community resources to enable the good health and success of our vulnerable and underserved neighbors.

GRACE distributes food and supplies on Thursday evenings 5:30-7:15 p.m. On holiday weeks, their day and time can change. Contact them to confirm day and hours for distribution.
