Here is today’s Sunday school schedule:

2-3 year olds  –  Room B-202

Pre-K & K  –  Room B-203

1st - 5th graders  –  Barnwell Hall

6th - 12th graders  –  Stay in Worship

An acolyte training session will be held on Sunday October 4 and another one will be held on October 11 immediately following the 9:30 worship service. All children in the 3rd, 4th and 5th grades who have not been an acolyte in the past but would like to become one are invited to participate. Please meet in the back of the sanctuary with Pastor Julie on one of those Sundays if you would like to participate.

Second Sunday Seminar: You are invited to a pot-luck lunch on October 11th after the second worship service from 12:00-1:30. Join Caroline and Brantley Dean at their house for lunch and discussion with Drew PhD students. We will read a Hebrew scripture or Apocryphal text together and discuss it over lunch. Bring a dish to share and a bible. If you can’t make it this time, mark your calendars for November 8th.

There will be a “New Member Sunday” on October 18th at the 9:30 service: If you are interested in joining the church or have questions, please speak to Chuck, Julie or contact Carol Angle, Membership Chair, or .

QUEST Spiritual Book Club Meeting: We will be discussing The Heart of Christianity by Marcus Borg on October 13th, at 9:30 am in Lile Hall. Childcare will be provided. All are welcome.
