S.O.S. Campaign: The SOS (Sunday of Sharing) campaign traditionally ends on Easter Sunday. This year, the Board of World Fellowship has received an exceptionally large number of applications from organizations seeking financial support. Further, as we all know, catastrophes happen on a regular basis throughout the world. You may still contribute to this year’s SOS campaign: make sure the letters “SOS” are on your envelope or on your check. The members of the Board of World Fellowship thank all who have given this year: your generosity contributes to doing what is good, right, and just in our world.

SAVE the DATE for the Christ Church ANNUAL MEETING BRUNCH on Sunday May 17th immediately following the 9:30 service. BRUNCH will be served in Barnwell Hall at 10:45. Annual business meeting will follow at 11:15 and conclude by noon. All are welcome. Childcare provided as well as supervised activities for school age children during the meeting. Cost of the brunch is $10 per adult*, $5 per child*. Sign-up after church or through email to *We want everyone to attend, please see the ministers if hardship exists

Nicaragua Container Shipment: Your generosity continues to bring hope and joy to children and their families in Nicaragua. Please bring your donations of summer-weight clothing and shoes, sports equipment, and household items to the church parking lot on Saturday, May 2 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. This year we are trying out a new coded labeling system to foil would-be pilferers in the Nicaragua customs house. To support this effort, please bring all donations in plain boxes (i.e., even if it is a brand new item, take it out of its original packing and put it in a nonspecific box), then for each box write the contents on a piece of paper or masking tape and affix it loosely to the box. Jim Burchell, of PeaceWorks, will be removing these loose labels and replacing them with coded labels as the boxes are loaded into the container later that day. Thank you for helping sustain this worthwhile, much-appreciated project! Please call if you have questions: Marilyn Devroye or Dan Ocone.

Join us on Sunday, May 3rd for “Man & Woman: Much Ado About Something” Tea at Christ Church. Bob Petrus and Liz Jefferson return to take us on a journey exploring the inexhaustible and enigmatic topic of Man and Woman through drama, poetry, stories, quotes and letters. If you missed the last one, this is your chance to take part in a beautiful afternoon! The event will take place in Lile Hall at 4 p.m., and will be catered by Stephanie Fisk. Space is limited, so please RSVP to Cheryl Levy at or 908-273-5549, by Monday, April 27th. Tickets are $15 per person to be paid at the door.

New to Christ Church? Are you relatively new to Christ Church and would like to meet a few people and find out a little more about us? Have you been attending services here and there and would like a non-threatening way to get some questions answered?

We’re having a get together just for you. You are invited for hors d’ oeuvres and wine on Saturday, May 16th from 7-9 pm at the home of Lizanne Ceconi and Ken Grispin, 28 Druid Hill Road, Summit. Call Carol Angle at or email at .

Some of the leaders of the church will be there and so will Rev. Chuck and Rev. Julie. At a minimum, it will be a nice evening.
