Debra & Stewart Trisler with their daughter, Hope, 126 Kent Place Boulevard, Summit, NJ 07901.

Donna & Brandon Fisk with son Xavier and daughter Ella, 35 Edison Avenue, Summit, NJ 07901.

Sonja Gray-Temple & John Temple and daughters Jennifer and Morgan, 200 Springfield Avenue, Summit, NJ 07901.

Lou Riccio from the Summit Housing Authority will speak at Adult Ed today at 10:45 am in Barnwell Hall: He will be describing a Summit Habitat for Humanity project that all of the churches and synagogues will build on the corner of Orchard and Morris. Come hear about this project and how you can be involved.

S.O.S. Campaign: Outreach at Christ Church includes a long-standing annual congregational collection, during Lent, that extends our outreach capabilities beyond that of the Board of World Fellowship. In March this year, we will be hearing about the use of those S.O.S. funds. Today’s speaker is Lou Riccio, Director of Summit Affordable Housing, who will speak about Summit’s upcoming project to build six town houses for families of low- and moderate-income.

Lenten Lunch: During the Month of March, the Deacons will be hosting a lunch every Tuesday from 12-1:30. We will have a very short worship service starting at noon with a thought for the day from Rev. Rush, music meditation on the piano by Holly Chatham, and Eucharist. Lunch with soup and bread will follow. Give it a try. Get your spiritual demeanor back in the driver seat mid-week as we work through adverse conditions. Share soup with someone you don’t know and be blessed by them. You will be better for adding one simple discipline to your week for a month.

On Sunday, March 29th at 3:00 p.m., the Christ Church Chancel Choir, St. John’s Lutheran Choir and Calvary Chorale will be combining to present a concert of music by Bach, Reger and Hassler: The music is in the spirit of the Lenten season, and will be performed with small orchestra. The concert will be held at St. John’s Lutheran Church (587 Springfield Ave.). It is free of charge (an offering will be taken up to help offset costs.) We hope you can come support our choir and hear beautiful music to help bring you into the spirit of Lent.

Yoga Classes at Christ Church: Kundalini Yoga is a combination of Breath, Repetitive Movements, and Meditation. It balances our Chakra's to relieve the Body and Mind of Stress and ensures a Calmer, Healthier Happier life. Flexibility is NOT required. Beginners to Advanced levels are welcome. Children 8 and up. First class free. Monday, Wednesday, Friday, @915 am ; Saturday @ 900am and Thursday night @ 700pm. Tracey or .

St. Teresa of Avila Good Friday Blood Drive: The annual Good Friday Red Cross Blood Drive will be held at St. Teresa of Avila Church, 306 Morris Avenue, Summit, on April 10th. The drive will take place from 1:00 to 7:00 pm in the Avila Room (adjacent to the playground/main parking lot). Please plan on giving the most precious gift of all – the gift of life – to those in need this Good Friday. Facts about blood needs:

Every two seconds someone in the US needs blood; more than 38,000 blood donations are needed every day; a single car accident victim can require as many as 100 pints of blood; one donation can help save the lives of up to 3 people.

Anyone 17 years or older and weighing at least 110 lbs. can donate. Please call the rectory (908 277-3700) for an

appointment, or schedule on-line at the following website, www.pleasegiveblood.org/donate (enter sponsor code 12579).
