Here is today’s schedule for children’s programs: Nursery Summer Sunday Camp for children ages 4-12 outside if weather permits. Room B-206 if it doesn’t. Prayer Chain: The person in charge of the Prayer Chain for July is Martina Westphal. You can reach her at Jamie Waller, Jr., one of our Christ Church kids is in Marine Boot Camp at Parris Island. If you would like to write him, you can send mail to Give a Day to SHIP This Summer: SHIP (Summit Helping Its People) is seeking volunteers to assist with the Breakfast feeding program at Calvary Episcopal Church during July and August. They need people form 6 AM to 8 AM to help provide breakfasts and bag lunches. Just coming for one day during the summer will be a big help. Training will be provided. If interested, please contact Dick Nelson or Barbara Bunting. Graduation News: Ali Ardington received a B.S. degree in Exercise Sports Science from Elon University. Alex Bushe graduated from Bates College this May! Jake Compton graduated from Summit High School and will attend the United States Naval Academy, starting in July. John Dickey received his M.D. degree from UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School on May 21. He will start his residency on July 1 at University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester, MA. Greg Gelber is graduating from Summit High School, planning on attending College of Charleston, Charleston, S.C. Andrew Graepel will receive a masters degree in Social Studies from Columbia University's Teachers College on July1st. Rob Hilton, will receive an M. Ed. in Psychology and Human Development from Vanderbilt University Monica Jones graduated with honors from the University of Colorado in May. She is a finance major. Rob Love is graduating from Summit High and heading to Roger Williams University in Bristol, RI in the fall. Kate Love graduated from Brown University in May with BA in International Relations. She will be heading to Lebanon in September to teach English at the University College, Beirut. Sarah O’Sullivan graduated summa cum laude from Skidmore College in May 2008. Danielle Radutzky is attending Elon University in the fall after graduating this year from Summit High School. Alex Ring is graduating from the University of Denver with a degree in Marketing. His future plans are under development. Anne Rush graduated from Summit High School. She will attend The School for the Visual Arts in Manhattan in the fall. Hannah Stuckey graduated from Summit High. She will attend Wesleyan University in the fall and will be playing soccer! Suzanne Bober Weckesser graduates in June with a PsyD from C.W. Post.
