To transform and save the earth
Might not be a plan or army,
Proud in purpose, proved in worth?

That a child should lead the way?
      God surprises earth with heaven,
      Coming here on Christmas Day.

LATE BREAKING ANNOUNCEMENTS
(More announcements are in the monthly newsletter, available in the narthex)

There is no Sunday school today. 2 and 3 year olds may stay in worship or go to the nursery.

Financial Update and Budget Outlook:

Please save a place on your schedule for the fifth annual Christ Church Financial Review. We will meet on Sunday, December 9, after coffee hour in Barnwell Hall to review and discuss Christ Church’s current and prospective operating budgets and to report on the financial status of the church. In addition, the Executive Board will present a list of current and future projects that require the attention of the Christ Church community.

A package of financial reports and related notes for your review will be circulated by e-mail or may be picked up at the church several days prior to the meeting.

It is our intention for the congregation to adopt an Operating Budget for 2008 at a congregational meeting in January 2008. Before that meeting, we will circulate a more complete budget proposal, based on the results of the stewardship campaign and other information now being collected.

We are looking forward to seeing you December 9.

Christ Church Executive Board: The Pledge Campaign is underway. Please give thought as to what Christ Church means to you, not only on Sunday, but daily. Also, consider the many outreach programs the Church supports. Mail in your pledge or put it in the plate on Sunday. Please have pledges in by Dec 2. The following Sunday we will discuss the 2008 budget at a meeting of the congregation
